Having some experience with DeLong, I called them in for a second opinion. They gave me a list of problems that the water heater had. They replaced the water heater and the vent pipe. Much cheaper than I had expected to pay. City Utilities removed the red tag from my account. I'm very grateful.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. The waterline in my front yard burst on the Fourth of July and I had no idea what I was going to do. It wasn't City Utilities' territory since it was beyond the water meter, and it wasn't covered under my home insurance policy. I was an emotional wreck, anxiously overthinking how much I was going to be spending to fix it, thinking I'm going to have to file for bankruptcy, sell the house, sell the car... heck, probably sell myself on the corner even, just to afford the repairs. Skot came out and did an estimate, and quoted me by the hour, and said it would probably be up to five hours of labor, which was better than I had expected, but still not very budget-friendly when you're young, dumb, and like to eat 13 baskets of rolls at Texas Roadhouse on the weekends. He even offered to take away the tree I had chopped down in my front yard that I was too lazy to drag to the backyard and burn, so I said I was in. Skot, Mike, and Kaiden showed up bright and early to help this damsel in distress the next day, and they were able to find the issue, fix it, take my nasty tree lawn ornament, and even save some of my grass in less than an HOUR, leaving the entire project way under the initial budget. I am so thankful for everyone that came out to help. Everyone was so nice, and they all really came together to help me out in a time of need. I will definitely be suggesting these guys to friends for their plumbing, heating, and air needs, as well as continuing to use them in the future. Thank you guys so much!

I recently moved to a home rehab. I never know exactly what is involved when something stops working. Garbage disposal just suddenly didn’t come on. The bleaker was not thrown. So I called Delong and they set me up for same day. The technician, Allen Ryder, was very friendly and professional when he was here. I told him the problem and he had in fixed in no time. He checked the disposal but could not find a normal reason for it stopping. I told him to replace. He had the part on the truck. Yet as he was removing old disposal he found lose wire and bad wire nuts. Yeah new disposal not needed just a couple of wire nuts. I loved the honesty in his work!

Brian came and fixed our furnace in an hour. Replaced a part from the stock in their truck which is outstanding in this day and age of "we will order it for you" and then you wait for the part to come on overnight air, in the meantime your furnace is down for hours if not days. Excellent service.

I have used DeLong plumbing a few times which resulted in quality work and fair pricing. However yesterday I needed a fix for a diverter tube spout that only has 1 inch of copper pipe sticking out all the replacements at the box stores say you need a minimum of two inches. The tech came out and his only solution was to cut an access hole in the side of my house to add an extinction which I did not want to do. He was here 10 minutes no solution $95. ***Update Mr. DeLong called me about the aforementioned problem I had and took care of it quickly. Great job guys.

Our air conditioner stopped blowing out cool air last night. We called their after hours line and they picked up promptly and were ready to help. Service tech came out in the morning during their business hours at 9 am, which I did not expect since our friends had the same problem and their HVAC company couldn't make it till the next morning. We had a leak inside our basement wall just before the main shutoff at a 90 degree bend in our pipe. This caused some overnight flooding before we shut off water to the whole house. We called in the morning and setup an appointment for 11am. About 30 minutes after I called the technician, Jesse Poindexter, called and said he could come earlier. He quickly found the issue and repaired it. I can't say enough about his professionalism, friendliness, and skillset. He got us back to normal after a chaotic overnight situation. DeLong Plumbing Heating & Air is a first class company and I would recommend them to anyone for their plumbing and HVAC needs. It was 90+ degrees with 50% humidity when my AC decided to quit on me. I like to kid myself and think I am handy around the house so I immediately took to the DIY websites and diagnosed my problem as a failed capacitor. Fortunately for me, I came back to reality and convinced myself to call a professional rather than take my chances. I am glad common sense prevailed because it was more than just a failed capacitor and I saw the evidence to prove it. I called DeLong Plumbing Heating & Air at 8:24 am on a Monday morning and they had a repairman at my house before 11 am. My AC was back up and running before noon pleasing both me and my spoiled house dog. The repairman was on time, professional, and focused on repairing the defective parts. It didn’t feel like a trip to the auto mechanic that that pulls the “you are running low on blinker fluid and it is only $199.99 to service” when you came in with a flat tire. He showed me what was wrong with my unit and explained what I can do to prevent future issues. In addition to the great service, the cost was on the low end of the estimates I found on the internet and the parts were cheaper than if I would have ordered them myself. I would highly recommend DeLong for you plumbing, heating, and air needs. It is NOT worth trial and error with DIY web sites when you can get quick and professional service from a locally owned company.

After he examined the situation, he notified us of the problem, which should have been caught by the other 2 companies. He cleaned out the clog in the drain so we could use water and let us know Scott would call us about estimating the cost for the needed repairs. By 10am the very next morning, I was contacted by Delong to schedule that estimate and 2 days later the estimate is being done. We are super thankful for their excellent communication and speediness.
